Appleton Coated always creates inspiring visuals. For the How Design Conference, they hired illustrators to bring art to life in a big way. One one side of the booth, I painted and promoted the Utopia Paper Collection and Chris Gliebe, an amazing graffiti artist painted and promoted the Curious Collection. We both painted vigorously for three days as the conference took place.

This time lapse video shows the process from start to finish and how Appleton showcased a live-art-event the night of the opening party. Utopia Paper is about beauty, quality, and creativity which is why I used a vibrant peacock to represent their luxurious coated white papers. They are devoted to giving graphic designers an amazing product that elevates a finished design.

It was great to be part of such a progressive collaboration. And, I couldn’t have done this video without the commitment and creativity of the following folks who were such a joy to work along side: photographers: Joel Krogman, Oliviero Rodriguez and Bola Olukanni with the final editing by Joel Krogman of Interrupted Media.
