Hiring an artist to paint live means taking a risk on person, a performance and a piece of art. Corkcicle, the manufacturer of high end drink accessories wanted to have the most original booth at the International Housewares Show. When you buy a Corkcicle product you are buying it to enjoy a beverage while having fun. I created this artwork to align with their brand story and their mission to be innovative. After installing a 12 ft x 20 ft white backdrop, I painted live for three days during the trade show, bringing the artwork to life and interacting with lots of great people. I worked closely with Tradetech Skyline Displays and Corkcicle to insure the preparation and installation were a success.
