Activate is an event that tales place in different alleys in the Loop in downtown Chicago. Artists, musicians, performers, and local businesses come together to bring a creative theme to life each month during the summer. It's a unique experience and hundreds of people attend who are curious about unleashing experimental creativity. ZipCar partners with DJ Madrid who provides music for the events and I paint the cars (and sometimes faces)...with washable paints, of course. Each event is a completely different concept and I develop the artwork based on upcoming themes.
