What an amazing opportunity!!! A huge Thank you to the folks at Appleton Coated for having an amazing concept and hiring illustrators to bring Art to Life at the How Design Conference in Chicago. I helped promote Utopia Paper and Chris Gliebe, an amazing graffiti artist and designer promoted the Curious Collection. We both painted vigorously for three days as the conference took place.
This time lapse video shows the process from start to finish and how Appleton showcased a live-art-event the night of the opening party. Utopia is about beauty, quality, and creativity which is why I used a vibrant peacock to represent their luxurious coated white papers. They are devoted to giving graphic designers an amazing product that elevates a finished design.
I was honored and proud to be part of such a progressive collaboration. It may not be professional to gush on a website, but I’m so thankful for such a fun opportunity and for the whole team at Appleton Coated. Great People!!! And, I couldn’t have done this video without the commitment and creativity of the following folks who were such a joy to work along side: photographers: Joel Krogman, Oliviero Rodriguez and Bola Olukanni with the final editing by Joel Krogman of Interrupted Media.
Life’s definitely more satisfying when you are part of a team….
